Better Alternative To Adding Dic

Now this would seem like a much easier and better alternative to buying a steering wheel, clockspring, splicing into wires and having to run to a dealer to enable DIC...... And its plug and play and can be moved to another vehicle. Thought I'd share this info, although maybe everyone is already aware of them....

Someone brought this up in another forum.

I really like this device, but it is limited on the number of parameters it can read (can't yet read transmission temperature). The company that makes them is working to add the additional parameters. I will wait for the upgrade as I really want transmission temperature (I use my truck to tow).

This device is really great, but requires the vehicle to be CAN compatible. My 2006 is not, but I believe the 2007's are.

That web-site does give you an idea on the number of parameters which are available on GM vehicles.
