Rear Brake Noise

My 05 Silverado with drum brakes in the rear sounds like a big semi truck's noisy brakes when lightly braking. Checked out the brakes and they look like new. What gives? Truck only has 28,000KM. Would this be considered a warranty problem?

Yes. Drums last considerably longer than that. I'm sure the dealer will look at them for you. You might have some sort of corrosion built up in there that's causing the squeek.
