Just wondering what all it involves. Thanks Jim What kind of problem are you having? Can you describe what is or is not going on? Is the A/C running at all? IT RUNS FINE MOST OF THE TIME, RECENTLY I HAVE NOTICED THAT IT JUST BLOWS HOT AIR FOR A WHILE THEN WILL GET COLD. IT TENDS TO DO THIS AFTER THE TRUCK SITS FOR A COUPLE OF HRS, AND SOMETIMES IT WONT GET COLD UNTIL YOU PUT IT IN GEAR AND DRIVE A FEW FEET. THANKS JIM 03 2500 HD GASSER
Silverado4x4 Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 When I had my 04 it was doing the same as yours I took it up to the dealer and the service manager came out and replaced it all he did was unscrew it and put the new one on, he told me that they were replacing alot of those due to bad batches from the supplyer, once he replaced it I never had a problem again and no nothing leaked out cause inside it looks just like a tire stem.
LtE-36 Posted May 7, 2007 Author Posted May 7, 2007 Thanks, I changed it out this weekend and all is working great!!!!! Jim

Silverado4x4 Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 The cycle switch is located on the passenger side at the firewall, its a silver looking can, the cycle switch is on that on the side. Just unplug the connector and unscrew it from the can.

Just unplug the connector and unscrew it from the can. ALSO... You can change it without losing pressure in the system. There is a shrader valve in the screw in socket that prevents much from escaping.
