Sub Wiring

Okay everyone, im old skool at this so help me please, havent done this for years. I replaced my factory deck in my 2000 chevy, went with a pioneer deh-3700. Noticed an incredable difference even with my factory speakers. Heres the problem, I also put a 12 inch sub box under my back seats, now noticed on the back of the deck, I can hard wire speakers through the factory plug, deck also has front and rear RCA plugs. I have used all the factory wiring to both front and rear speakers, Can I also use the RCA out for the subs? and how do I block all the mids and treble out of them? I will be installing a rockford amp to the subs... help please!

Great upgrade!! I would suggest trying the rear or " sub out" RCA's straight to amp. The amp should have built in crossovers that will remove most, if not all the mids and highs. After a while you may want to upgrade factory speakers and add second amp to power them :) Good luck!
