Work Done Today. ?s On Steering.

I bit the bullet today and put on some new tires. I cranked the torsion bars last night and put 285/70-17s BFG AT KOs on today. I am kinda confused on the TB crank as one side went up 4 full turns and the other side only needed 2.5. Not sure how that works when the truck was level when I started, but....

 

With the new tires, I got an alignment. The guy doing the work said that there was some play in the steering and that he would tighten it up a little if he could. I'd like to know what he did, cause the truck steering is so sensitive now. The steering is still soft and easy to steer, but the response is immediate and almost too much. It's almost a chore keeping the truck in my lane because the slightest movement of the wheel makes the truck move. It will probably just take some getting used to, but I'd like to know what the guy did? ANyone know? I need to go back tomorrow as the steering wheel isn't perfectly aligned while going straight. I can also ask then if noone knows.
