Cabelas Floor Mats

Does anyone have experience with the Cabelas Trail Gear 2 floor liners? These look like weathertech's, and they're cheaper.

essentially the same. They might be made of slightly different material.

 

My dad has the cabelas and i just got weather techs.. Only difference I see is the name and the price

I bought the cabelas brand. The tech told me that weathertech makes them for cabelas and they were the exact same mats with different stickers on them. These are 10x better than the husky mats I had in my old truck.

BTW, that sticker peels right off with NO residue and minimal effort (on the WeatherTech ones anyway).

Thanks folks. I think I'll go with the Cabelas mats when I get another mailer about discounts with club card.

Yeah, they do appear to be made by Weathertech. I ordered a pair (Cabelas) but wasn't too pleased with how they looked so I sent them back. To each his own, I guess.

Really? What didn't you like about them?

 

One thing I noticed when I put mine in, they didn't sit completely flat along the sill and front kick panel. But after they were in for a week or 2, they settled in and now they sit perfectly flush and fit like a glove. I love them!!!

It's really more my fault that I didn't like them than Cabela's. My Silverado has the dark interior (titanium or whatever they call it:)). The truck, therefore, came with those dark black weather mats from the dealer. I drive/live on extremely dusty/dirt roads. Everytime I got in my truck I left bootprints all over the place. In an effort to try to cut down on the visibility of these prints, I ordered the gray mats from cabelas. These gray mats looked absolutely horrible with my dark interior!!! Thus, more my fault than anything else, but since they didn't accomplish what I wanted (less visible prints) while looking good at the same time, I sent them back. Live and learn, I guess.

I was thinking of the Weathertechs in black for my WT-both sets are the same price so i see no advantage in buying the Cabelas.
