Gm Card

Looking at my gm card earnings I am almost to the max (3500). I looked and you can do a max of 1500 on the tahoes. The only vehicle you can use a max of 3500 is on the 3500 express van. WHAT? The next highest is 2500 on a trailblazer and then 2K on an impala. I am very disappointed. I was looking at an 08 tahoe but with only 1500 in gm points and 1K rebate they can keep it.

Ok I jumped the gun and got overly excited for nothing

 

I emailed the gmcard a few min ago and got a reply already

I used my GM card a few years ago and gave my friend $2000 of accumulated GM points, they didn't seem to have any problem with it and he used them without an issue on a new 2004 2500HD Sierra ECSB.

 

Then I get a letter a few months later that they're giving me all of my points back if I want to buy another GM! The wife and I decided to buy a leftover Trailblazer with the points, and again...no issues. We sold that truck after 2 yrs and 50,000 mi and took a huge hit (bought for $26k and sold for $10k. However, besides an hvac issue and vibrating brakes (pads not bedded correctly) the truck was flawless.

 

I may never buy again due to the huge loss of value, but I've been happy with the GM card in general!
