Cognito Upper A-arm Kit

In the most recent issue of Truckin magazine I came across a letter sent from a reader of the magazine asking about torquin up the torsion bars on his GMT800 pickup. The magazine editor responded by sayin that the best idea would be to buy the kit from Cognito motorsports instead because of the bumpstops and one of thems ineffectiveness after cranking on the torsion bars. Anyone have any experience with the Upper A-Arm, or control arm cant remember exactly what its called right now, kit from Cognito? Sounds like a good option for keeping the front suspension riding nice even after messing with the torsion bars.

the reason they redo the upper a-arms is because if you use the stock a-arms and crank them, you end up hitting a structural piece of metal near the front upper arm mount to the frame, so u limit ur suspension travel and hurt ride. Cognito raises that area on the a-arm so you get the same travel and dont screw up the ball joints, plus if you have auto-ride you dont risk wearing out the bars.

Sounds decent, would this make the truck ride like it would had you not touched the t-bars though? I want to keep the same ride while getting the extra 2-3 inches out of the front end. Thanks for the response.

If this is as good as they say it is that would be great; I really want to clear 33x12.50's for my next tire and this sound like it might be the most reasonable and inexpensive way of doing so.
