Chromin The Truck..?

was wondering what i should do with my truck as far as chrome goes.. Im thinking on getting chrome door handles, chrome tailgate handle, 17inch Torq Thrust IIs (American Racing) and the half chrome covers for the mirrors. Any other suggestions?

I just bought a pair of polished (or "chromed") Westin Signature Series side steps for my truck. They look great and are a breeze to install, plus they really compliment any other bright work on the vehicle.

I honestly don't understand why everyone loves CHROME. It looks ok on a high end luxury vehicle and even then it looks better on a car than a truck. I like Chrome wheels but thats it as far a chrome goes...I hate even having chrome bumpers, I think theres too much chrome on my new truck. I agree with 06VORTECMAX4X4...there is such thing as too much chrome. But hey, who am I to judge anyone else...to each there own.

too much chrome just... looks wierd on a pickup. Get the wheels and maybe some door handles and mirror covers but not much else.

thats one of the reasons i opted for the work truck package ... no chrome at all ...

 

but on that note, you could always just pull every body panel off that you can, and get each of them chrome plated .. or powdercoated with a chrome / polished aluminum finish ...

There are quite a few trucks where I live that actually have that whole list of accessories, and IMO it's excessive. I know there are a few who probably think whats been done to mine so far might be too much, and thats fine. Im basically happy with how it is now, except wheels. Gotta get rid of the alloys.

 

And yes, there are some Rams I've seen with chrome rocker panel trim. Kind of a bad idea unless you like washing it everyday. Nerf bars are hard enought to keep clean!
