Ok with all this global warming talk I thought i would throw something out there.

While leaving the grocery store today (I was not driving the truck) I look over to the star bucks in the strip mall by the grocery store and see a line of about 9 cars deep going through the starbucks drive through. Is it just me or is this wasting gas and contributing to global warming (allegedly)? I bet 50%+ of the people sitting in their honda civics/ toyota carollas in the drive thru are "tree huggers" (sorry didnt know what term to put here hopefully i didnt affend anyone) and they are the first people to complain about people in big SUV's/Trucks comsuming gas.

Yep....couldn't agree more. Up north, it's nothing for 12+ cars lined up a the Tim Horton's to get their coffee. I park and go in...cheaper on gas and way faster. ;)

I remember the day I brought my current truck home....heard my neighbor say "there's another gas guzzler".

Then a couple days later she mentioned to me how nice the truck looked, and my response "thanks, some people think it's a gas guzzler...those people haven't a clue, but with a family of 8, it's cheaper than driving 2 cars everywhere." ;)

I had to write a paper on global warming in college, but I pretty much B.S'ed most of it. But I still learned a good deal of info on it. While transportation contributes a lot to the CO2 pumped into the atmosphere, the power industry and defforestation are big contributers, especially the power industry. However, I also park and go inside because I hate wasteing gas, and it's faster.

I really piss them off I drive my Schwan's work truck (gmc topkick 5500) propane powered 8.1L through the drive-through. :shakehead:

Coming soon to a PC near you is our newest "poke fun at the left wingers" website. It's called www.KillYourHybrid.com and my son is the driving force behind it. We hope to have some of it completed in the next 2 weeks or so. Look us up! It should be entertaining
