Hey you all are going to love this.....i was headed out just on my regular drive around town and came across this nice Nissan Titan looked pretty stock but after all the roomers i had herd on here i wasnt going to even bother messing with it...

However i was cruzin about 2k rpm's and the whistle of the TB spacer cought his attention and then the big gaping sticker on my window didnt help. I started into the turn and dude was behind me right on my ass then we got onto the highway and went at it.lol We were about neck to neck till about 80-85 then i started to pull on him. He had nothin at 90 and d**n i couldnt even tell what kind of truck was in my rear veiw at 110...ha.haaa!

All this said we tried agin at like 70 and i let him get the jump for like a fender and a door but started pullen on him...so im not scared of nissans anymore....I also guess i could of sprayed the bottle on him but i dont have a remote opener so didnt have time.

anyway just wanted to tell you all cuz now im all syked up its a shame my truck aint toataly stock but not bad for a 04 with 80k miles on it..lol

NOT BAD!

I had an 07 Titan. It was really quick off the line but I don't think it was as fast as Fred II on the big end. It did pull my boat like no truck I have ever owned. It was like the darn thing wasn't back there. That's about the only nice thing I have to say about it.

yeah kinda funny it looked just like that titan...lol but anyway not a bad truck but like i had said ive always heard to stay away form them cuz there lighter and faster than our chevy/gmc's but felt great to pull away like that. Makes me still want to put more money into my truck..........got to make it faster...its like an addiction and its expensive.. i started out with just lght bulbs and exaust now got to many mods to list. but its great non the less.

Aw, come on, it's obvious your neighbor talked you into it during a moment of weakness. Misery loves its company.

That's like what I did last year at the 1/4 mile track. The Titan jumped me off the line, but I would reel him in the rest of the way. The Titans make most of their power down low, and lose a lot more up top, and our small blocks make more power at they climb in rpms.

GREAT KILL! :D

yeah i noticed that. these motors realy have alot of power at higher rpms but seem to be slugs out of the hole....did the titan jump you a whole truck at the track off the line? The only way ive found to get my truck off the line was nitrous if im at the track with the bottle on the whole time im good. other than that it seems to fall on its face off the line.

You are pretty close to right. Misery didn't have company for long though. 4.5 months to be precise.

he jumped me at least a whole truck length, then i reeled hin in. We don't stand a chance in the 1/8th mile w/o NOS against the titans.

We don't make our peak torque until 4000+ rpm, and they make their peak torque at 3600 rpm. Which means they jump amd we reel in.

Lots of fun to watch their faces as you pass them at about 80 mph.

Us: 295 @ 5200

335 @ 4000

Them 305 @ 4900

379 @ 3600

Factory numbers of course

Tune = a whole lot more

Here's the thing those titan specs look great on paper for a pickup, but when your racing like that the titan's 5.6 starts losing power after 4900 rpms. The 5.3 because of it's LS-based racing cousins will practically keep making power up through redline. So, yeah if you run past 80 he's dead.
