New '07 Silverado Owner

Hey guys, I'll be picking up my 2007 SIlverado LT Extended Cab in a few hours. I traded in my '00 Chevy Monte Carlo SS for it and while I loved that car, the Silverado has really got me excited. I feel like its Christmas Eve and I can't get to bed because of the excitement about opening my presents. I purchased the truck the other day but it had to be delivered to my local dealership as a dealer trade. Granted, if there is something wrong with the truck when I first see it, I won't be buing it and we'll hae to start over and find another truck that fits my wishlist, but I have a good feeling that it will be everything it should be and I will be the proud owner of a black on black Silverado! I'll post pictures ASAP!

Sweet! I had the same excitement when I bought my '07 Serria last month. Like you, I picked up mine as a dealer trade, although not sight unseen. I actually looked at the truck when it was at the original dealer. Lucky for me my local dealer found that truck for me and I ended up with way better deal through my local dealer! Congrats!

That's my mom's '07 Avalanche that we got just a few weeks ago. After driving it I realized I wanted a truck of my own. The Silverado is my first new vehicle, and the first one I've purchased and insured myself. My old car was in my dad's name, on my parent's insurance. Now I'm totally on my own with this truck an it feels pretty good!
