Leveling Kit And Tire Size

Recommended Posts

I was just talking to a mechanic around here and he said that they have had people do the leveling kits then try and fit 285" tires on they that theyve had to do some serious trimming out of the wheel wells, i was just wondering if any of you have changed your tire sizes and what your running and if youve had this problem.

I have NBS Sierra with a 1.5" leveling kit and 305/60/18 tires and they barely rub. Had to take out the center pop rivet but otherwise have done nothing else.

Well...I think I'm gonna do a levelling kit with 35" tires (315/70/17)...can you guys foresee any major issues, I know I'm gonna have to do a bit of trimming, but it should all fit right?

The only way I think that will fit is if you remove the fenders all together. But heck give it a try and let me know how it works.

I dig the look of the rockstars, good taste 1st, but I am going to try and shoehorn the 33x12.5R20 nitto mud grapplers with a 2.5 level kit, any advice? anybody other than me think it will fit?
