Leveling Kit And Tire Size

Leveling kit is from CCMOffroad they are on ebay...right now its the only spacer that I will install.

Well...I think I'm gonna do a levelling kit with 35" tires (315/70/17)...can you guys foresee any major issues, I know I'm gonna have to do a bit of trimming, but it should all fit right?

I installed a fabtech 2" leveling kit on my 2007 NBS Silverado. Put on Moto Metal 955 17x9 with 285/70-17 and had to trim the back side of the front wheel wells quite a bit. The tires would have been fine, but the 9" rim was too wide for NO trimming. I don't have pictures yet, but i'll post some soon. I'm SOOOOO glad i got this done!!

Well here is leveling and 275/60-20 which is 33x11.5 they measure out to 32.5 on the truck..they did rub a little when turned and backing up...mostly on the mudflap, but also on the inner fender liner on the pass. side.

So how come these dont rub with bigger tires and same lift, but the 275/50/20's rubbed?

 

Is that truck a 4x4?

JB, the tires on the hoe rubbed big time...with alittle finese and some tying back of the inner fender liner they no longer rub at all...was actually easier than I had first thought after first mounting them...as far as the Silvy rubbing the 275's...that is bone stock no trim no nothing...if I do it up like the hoe it will have zero issues as well.

I just got my ccm leveling kit put on yesterday and my guy seemed to think I could put 305/55/20 on my truck. I have 20x9 wheels also and the same lift as you. 8100HD how bad was the rub? I mean was it just when you turned or was it all the time? That tahoe looks really good btw!

You do have to cut the studs w/ the CCM kit. Sawzall (get some extra blades!)
