I was looking for tires and came across the Cooper Zeon LTZ. I read the reviews at Discount Tire Co. and they all said that there was little to no road noise, great wear for an agressive all terrain. It also carries the sizes I want. 305-35-24 (If I were to run 24's they would be perfect) and 305-50-20 (more realistic) or 305-40-22. Not decided on a rim. Most likely 20" though due to practicalness (is that a word?) Well anyways any of you guys ran this tire before?

I would also say 'practicality'.

I've never heard of this tire before. Looks quite a lot like the tread design on the Nitto Terra Grappler.

Ill start using practicality then. LOL. Thats why I like em, bc they resemble nittos design a little bit. I think I might try em out when I get my wheels.

If you do try them, let us know. We are always looking for good new stuff. Back when... somebody was first in line with the Nittos and they seem to be doing pretty well.

They look slightly like the Hercules Terra Trak AT, but slightly less aggressive tread. Hercules is a Cooper owned company. Maybe the Terra Trak's were guinnie pigs for Cooper LTZ's.

I have the Terra Trak' on my personal truck and work truck. I got 55k out of my Cooper ATR's and now only have 20k on the Terra Trak's and they are almost shot. They are quiet and get great traction in everything. I'm a surveyor and put them to the test almost every day. But they wear like crap.

I hope the LTZ's are better.

I asked my local Cooper tire guy if they could get those tires for me and he said that Cooper only made them for them and that is the only place you can buy them for now.

So far they are only available at Discount tire...new release.

I have the 275/60/20's with 6000 miles on them and love them, there is no more noisethan the stock Goodyear Eagles had and they are an aggressive looking AT.

I have been running the Cooper Zeon LTZ's since mid July. I have not noticed any difference in road noise, in fact I think they are quieter then the previous high performance 20's I had on my truck. I am running the 275-60-20. Everyone who has seen my truck transforming has commented on how the tires help the look of the truck and gives it a more aggressive look from what it had previously. As for wear I have nearly 6,000 miles on them and haven't noticed anything unusual.

I have to update my picture, the tires in the current picture are the older high performance tires I had.

Have a nice day.

Bill
