Just Bought 1500

Just picked up a 93 1500 w/t. I'm new here to the forum and just wanted to know if this is the correct forum for my truck. It's a $200.00 truck so it needs some work(not alot believe it or not), but still might need some help down the way.

Runs like a top, only 129,000. Needs exhaust and a bucket of soap and water for the inside and out. I'm stuck more on title ,plates, and insurance than I am the truck.

Has it got the 4.3? My buddy has a mid 90's 1/2 ton w/t with the 4.3 and the thing runs like a bear.

You have liability insurance on this truck right, not full coverage comprehensive? I see so many idiots driving around with full coverage on vehicles worth less then $5k. It is not worth it. You would pay more in insurance costs then the thing is worth.

have same truck with 230 k....trans rebuilt at 210......rearend rebuilt at 212....but the she still runs like a top...

$200 for a truck!!! That's money in the bank if you ask me, especially if all it needs is TLC (Truck Lovin' Characters) This forum if chock full of guys that have done some awesome things to their rides and the information you get here won't steer you wrong. Most of us on here have had one problem or another and through the forum (and some shade-tree ingenuity) have defeated most of the gremlins running through our rides. I say fix er' up and drive it like you stole it!

Nice find on the truck. I say $200 for anything that runs is a good deal, but especially so on a truck.
