2005 Chevy Cb Install

Well guys i started on my in dash CB install this weekend. spent alot of time getting everything how i wanted it. Made a nice accent plate to cover any gaps around the CB out of diamond plate aluminum which i then painted black. i also custom made a antenna mount out of aluminum that will be mounted opposite side of am/fm radio antenna. i will post more pics after i get the install finalized. Hope this helps people that are thinking of doing it themselves.

my mom used to live in apartments that look almost exactly like those you live in i believe it was when she lived in morrisville, NC. if i remember right thats not to far from fuquey varina, right? isnt there a big flea market or something there also?

 

thanks for the coment also..i indeed did spend alot of time puting it in. there just wasnt anywhere easy to put in that looked good. so thats how i ended up there. hope my boss doesnt mind...

looks great man!!! i'm in the process of takin my midland from under my dash and flush mounting it in that overhead console where your supposed to put your sunglasses ... should look good i'll post some pics when i'm finally done!!!

yeah that should be pretty cool mounted up there. you ll have to be sure to post some pics up when you get done. ill be posting more when i get the rest of my stuff to put in. the antenna and such. this install isnt quite finished yet. I still have to mount the antenna, run the coax and run power for the CB. Oh, and install the mic and bracket.
