Rattling Drivers Side Window

Hello Again!

 

So i was driving with my windows down talking to my friend in the passger seat...turned right and found a nice bump....right when that happened i heard my window slamming around inside the door panel. I was wondering if thats something thats happened a lot with this model truck or if its just mine....its really annoying and since i heard it about a week ago ive started hearing it a lot more...anyway what does anybody think about this happening? and what do people think it would cost for a dealer or a shop to fix it if yall know what it is!

Mine had a slight rattle in the drivers door. I found the bolts that hold the window channel to the inside of the door loose. Had to take the door panel off to find them. They were all loose, 4-5 of them, from the factory when the truck was new. Worth a try I'd say...

I had the same problem i just fixed yesterday.. with my window half down it would rattle over any little bump i took of the door panel and sure enoght there was one loose bolt that was obviously one used to hold the window or window track in place and just tightening it up and fix the problem!!, all the bolts are easily exposed with the door panal off so its a easy 5 minute job...

Something around the bottom of the door on the pass side is rattling in my truck 07 Silverado nbs, I can not find it. It does it on rough and smooth roads.

Mine rattled on the passanger side right after I got it. I ignored it for a while and finally it got to where it would slip down and I'd have to put it up several times a day. When it was in for something else they fixed it but I'm not sure what it was.

Yeah my truck is not even 2 months old, and it rattles off and on. When i have somebody riding in the passenger seat it doesn't ever do it, because they thought I was nuts. Going to check it out this weekend.

You sure yours is not the plastic seat belt deal that you adjust at the top? That will rattle as well on the new style trucks. That could explain only doing it when no one is sitting in that seat.
