In comparison, the engines on the destroyer I'm on, push 25K shaft horse power each(2 engines, 1 per shaft) and burn 100 gal (between both engines)per min at full speed. Thats 6000GPH...

 

So, This this is actually pretty fuel efficient to my standards. Same output at 1/3 the fuel, but the possibility to double our output...thats impressive.

 

Of course, a jet turbine like we have that spins at 17Krpm and burns 3000 gal of fuel an hour each is pretty impressive too...LOL

That thing must be sort of strange to build, being that the piston could squish you if it fell.
