just wondering what you all think should be my next big purchase.

 

My computer will be 4 yrs old this december.  Dell has a nice one for like $800 (1.1 ghz, dvd, 15" monitor etc).  Mine is only 233 mhz

 

Id also like a set of tires for spring (so i dont need em now) and keep the 285s for winter

You gotta get the tires.  Just don't break up w/ you g/f cuz then you don't have a scanner to use.  How big did you say those tires were again???  Are you getting new rims as well?

THis is what i wanna do

 

Find a very new set of alum rims like i have or the 16" avalanche rims.

 

The mount BFG mudterrain 255/85/R16 on them.  The 255's are taller (33.3") then the 285's and fit better on the rim and i wanna keep these rims looking nice.

 

I want these tires for srping/summer and use my at's for winter/fall (bad weather)

 

So i am looking at about $800 for tires rims unless i can get some rims cheap which i would like to do

http://www.lwm.cc/  you can order take off rims from here, otherwise there's always ebay.  I've seen some pretty good deals on there.  The Mud Terrains will mount on the stock rim.... Hmmm, I might have to get a set of those as a spare set when I lift my truck.  33" tires won't look all that small on a 6" Lift.

Ryan, I didn't see "lift kit" on that list. just think of the rims and tires you could throw on then

Actually one reason i am not even considering that is because my mom doesnt want me to get one (i know i know dont say it) and also my gf i dont think would like it

 

If i did get one id only go 3-4"

dont buy a prebuilt computer, you could get a much better machine if you buy the components and build it.
