Heated Steering Wheel

Alright...so its getting cold here in Illinois and after working at the dealer and having the luxury of getting in and out of vehicles everyday that have the heated steering wheel I have decided to take on the task of trying to add it to my truck. A NBS 07 Sierra SLT Extended Cab. Anyway...after a few hours on SI and doing studying some printouts of the steering column connector end views, and overall components I have decided to order some parts. My question though before I get into this too deep is, has anyone else done this yet. I have ordered an Ebony Heated Denali Wheel and will be putting in the order for a new SIR Coil tomorrow. The SIR Coil carries an extra 4 Pin Plug which then plugs into the heated steering wheel module inside the wheel. So far the only problem that I forsee is that I am going to have to do a little wire swapping as the only thing that I can order this clockspring for is a Denali which has a 6 Speed Transmission and my Sierra only has a 4 Speed so I will have to correct this issue by doing a few wire swaps there, or remove the heated steering wheel wires and move them into my current clockspring....I am just wondering what else I need to do, and was wanting to see if anyone else has tried this. I don' think it should require any additional programming as it seems to draw is power from RPO K34 which is the Cruise Control Switch. I'm not looking for anyone to tell me just to put a pair of gloves on either...I'm wanting to jump on this in the next couple of days so I can use it, as this would be a project that would be a waste in the summer time.
