Radio Unlock

I have the factory stereo in my 1999 GMC Dually and since disconnecting the batteries due to replacing them both it appears to have lost the code. Me not realising that it was a coded stereo and I dont have a code in my serice pack. Does anyone know how I can get this unlocked, it says LOC on the display now. Can someone please help me out here, even though I love listening to the sound of that V8 I do miss my tunes on long trips.

I would just like to thank you Draenor for giving me that link for the info on unlocking my stereo. It worked first time. Now I can have some tunes on again. Now if only I can find a cure for my jolty transmission. Do you have any contacts in the USA that I can call that know about GMC transmissions?
