Thats what i did when i took all my computer classes through high school..  The net was always connected so while he was teaching about how to do this or how to do that i was surfin all my favorite sites

Taking Java Programming at Schenectady C.C. and Web Page Design/XHTML at Hudson Valley.  Could I drive any further?  Almost took some CISCO courses at Fulton Montgomery out past Amsterdam.  Would need a new truck by spring semester!!!

Newbie, what do you wish to do with your education?  The most programming I did was FORTRAN.  How archaic.  Someday I'd like to learn C++ though.

Havent decided really, i would kind of like to design management systems for corporate america......maybe get involved in e-commerce/website stuff.. I dont really know, I just thought I'd open the door a bit and see what happens...

I'm taking C++ , and Discrete Stuctures (Propositional Calculus, Logic, etc.)  Just call me "Spock". LOL!  Took FORTRAN about 6 years ago when I was in Engineering.  That class sucked!

Me too, 1977 believe it or not....Fortran and Cobol...and this applies HOW????? Actually they do somewhat...a lot of programs still out there in those two....but show me someone developing a new one?!?!?!
