Fast Blinker 07 Nbs Sivlerado

I just hooked up my back up cam wire to my left rear taillight on the back up bulb and now when i put on my blinker it blinks normal for 3 blinks then goes really fast like there is a light bulb out. Any one else have this problem??

i know that the lights blink fast when they sense they are getting low on power. my only guess would be that the cam is drawing the power from the light too fast

You need to tap off the backup bulb to trigger a relay. Then run a direct power source from the battery, through the relay, to the camera. That should resolve the problem.
