Are The Back Seats Leather Or Pleather?

05 Crew Cab. I assume the back seats are not leather, but just wanted to confirm. I just picked up a few bottles of Lexol cleaner and conditioner, but dont want to waste in on the back seats if they are nothing more than expensive vinyl.

most all of the seats in GM stuff for a while now .. is just leather on the parts that will get high wear (the seat part you come in contact with) ... with the fake stuff on the rest (sides and so forth and lower traffic rear) ... but in some cases .. the fake stuff holds up just as good if not better then the leather ... as the leather that is used isn't that good of a quality to begin with ...

What about the rear seats on the NBS? Are they leather? I think the leather on the NBS is better than the classic model leather.

It sure is. It is 0.0000001 inches thicker.

No. On my 2002 Extended Cab SLT, the front seats had real leather inserts whereas the front sides, headrests, and entire backseat were vinyl.

On my new '07 Extended Cab SLT, the rear seat contains actual leather, same as the front seats, instead of all vinyl.

i doubt that the rear seat has leather .. if it does .. it will be one of the first few GM products i have seen that has leather in front and rear (actual leather) ...

i prefer to just get the normal material and get an aftermarket kit installed ...

I'm pretty darn sure. On my '02, there was an obvious difference between the front leather and the rear vinyl. On my '07, the rear seat face is the exact same material as my front seats (look, feel, pattern, etc.).

Some of the worktrucks around my job are '07+ Chevy extended cab base W/T models with the Titanium vinyl interiors. The rear seats in these trucks are definately noticable vinyl in a completely different pattern, look, feel, etc. than my rear seat of the same color. Hell, the rear windows in these W/Ts dont even roll down (or vent open for that matter).
