Can Anybody Explain This?

Can anybody explain why the mere presence of a baby makes women into total blithering idiots?

It's like "Scary Goofy Meets the Human Larva"

Never have been able to figure that one out.

EDIT: Yes, it was said in jest... as a joke. My wife would kill me if it weren't. But after a couple of months of daughter and baby being home while my son in law is stuck in Iraq, I've heard enough goo goos and strange squeaky noises to last about 25 lifetimes. Holy Crap!

Just imagine if you have to live with them. . .I'm glad my father did it though.

Yay post number 1000.

WOW 1000 posts since June... You must use the computer while on the toilet!

It's taken me since 2002 to hit the almost 1800 mark.

Nope. :)

Yeah... but we would be in a world of hurt without them!

I would be lost, literally. I can't find my wallet, keys, chew, phone etc 50% of the time, but she looks for 12 seconds and there they are!

I have noticed when women are around a baby they are completely different. Anything in the world could be going on right in front of them but it goes unnoticed, if noticed it might be .000000000001% as important as the baby.

I can explain women!!

"Keep guessing!" Not you trying to figure out my answer, but about women in general, KEEP GUESSING! The reason is, they do not follow the previous pattern they left for you to look at. They change their minds almost always and some of them do it just to be mean to us!!

Now, Elwood... you are going to get us in trouble here!

BTW, how's the new truck?

The new truck is great! I have put a couple hundred miles in it and all is very good. Thursday I get mufflers put on it. It has straight pipes with just the cats. now and to be honest, 20 years ago I would have been thrilled. Today, a little grayer and a little fuller, I want mufflers! Sucks to get old, but what can ya do?!?!? LOL

My wife has been keeping her 18(?) month Old cousin more every other week for a while now. here right NOW actually. gotta say one thing, if I tell the kid to stop crying, she KNOWS I mean it and stops immediately. she's a pretty good little one, but apparently gets what she wants around her parents, I've been around a lot of little kids(when I was growing up my mom kept 5 month to 2 year olds, their parents said they'd never seen a teen guy that could handle kids like I could. although that was something I kept to myself at that age, just wouldn't work into conversations during football practice :dunno: ) and rarely see one start fussing like that just cause she is too lazy to do something herself(get the bottle 2 feet away for instance. instead of leaning over it starts grunting and whining, with the occasional scream). And still on a pacifier no less, screams if you try to take it away. BAD habit for a 18(?) month old to have. Kid'll be a mess in another year.
