They showed the new 02 Z06 corvette.  All i can say is i want one bad.  only costs $51K.  405hp no options.

I had one for about a week before I found out my insurance wouldn't cover all of my expected medical bills. As much as I liked it, I decided it just wasn't the right time to spend that kind of money on a car. Now, I have my truck and the ability to pay my upcoming medical expenses but I really miss that car.

I can tell you that the '02 Z06 is a freaking rocket on wheels. It'll go from 0 to OH CRAP! faster than you can imagine. Don't ever drive one unless you're ready to buy because it'll be all you can think about if you do.

Around the same time that I got the Z06, I found out I have to have surgery and I wanted to be prepared for that. However, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect new medical bills from having that particular car if you're not careful.   :0

It's also a good thing I got rid of it because it snowed a few days later. A Corvette turns into a snow plow -- if you can get traction.

That Z06 is awesome. 0-60 in 4 seconds, 405 hp, 400 lb ft of torque, almost 1 G cornering.

I think the 1/4 mile times were 12.4 seconds. Sweet ride.
