Instrument Panel In French Now?

I just changed the battery in my '04 Silverado Ext. Cab 1500 and now my instrument panel and radio is all in French.

 

Anyone know how to change it back to English?

You should be able to select language using the DIC

Turn your battery around so the English label faces out.

Yeah you got the wires crossed, put the black connector on the negative post and the red connector on the positive post that should fix it. Tabernac!

On my 05 you push and hold the trip reset button to change languages.

Press "seek" repeatedly until it finds an English station

I'll go out and try this as I don't have the full DIC, just the digital trip and radio that is appearing in F'n French. I hate the d**n French, why couldn't it have been The King's English or something, anything other than French.
