I am getting ready to install an in dash DVD in my truck and was wondering if anyone knew the model # of the harness that I would need to keep my on star and use the steering wheel controls. I have gotten 2 different part #s a LAN 01 and a GMOS-LAN-02. Also if you know a good place to get them that would be great thanks..

i don't know what harness to use but from what i understand the steering whell controls only work with the stock stereo

theyt won't work if any after market stereo

If you have a BOSE system then you need the LAN02, if no BOSE then the LAN01. You need seperate adaptor to retain the steering wheel controls if you buy a head unit that is compatible (usually this just means buying a HU with an IR input jack on the back of the radio).
