07 Cc Plastic Trim Loose

Anyone else have issues with the plastic trim between the front and back door staying on at the bottom/sides. Mine seems to wonder all over the place like the clips are broke. I hate to leave it at the dealership for this, but it sure is an expensive truck for the trim to keep popping loose.

 

I ran a quick search and did not see any similiar problems, so maybe it is only mine.

There is only two clips and they are off the floor about 8 inches and one higher, mine is the same way. These trucks are just cheaply made. They sure are pretty thou, hu.

Yes I have the same problem and my dealer ordered new ones for me just waiting for them to come in. Kind of embarrassing when you take people out in your nice big truck and they say "hey why is this piece stickout like this?"

Thanks it just drives me nuts. It just seems this is way to simple to not get right.

mines the same way on the passenger side. Keep us posted if the replacements fix the issue

This seems to be a common problem .Mine did the same thing .Took 4or 5 trips to the dealer to get it to stay.What they did was put more padding under the carpet to keep the bottom part of that panel from popping out. So far so good it has not moved since even with my 16 year old and his size 13 shoes and its still in place.The dealer said there is no clips at the bottom of the panel that the carpet is the only thing that holdsit at the bottom

I have same problem dealer replaced 3 times . Trucks at the dealer now for redesigned part. Will let you

know how it works

Thanks Bmiller110 can not wait to see if GM's fix works on your truck. I just have not taken in it since a partial fix will just get me more upset.

Mine is the same way on the Passangers side only so far.

Same problem here also. I had the pass rear bottom piece replaced once already. Broken clip. I will probably add more padding to the carpet.
