Interesting Awd Drivetrain Study.

It's all foreign vehicles, but still interesting tests. It's basically the foreign AWD small SUV market, or whatever they are. It also shows how torque steer supposedly is created in front wheel drive platforms.

Here's an example of Subaru's symmetrical drivetrain, in the video they mentioned the reason for torque steer in FWD vehicles is the unequal axle lengths, and the Subaru's axle's are even.

Guy at work is a big suburu guy. Bought himself a wrx 2.5 got his fart can catback and short shifter. Fast little ricer, and I was surprised the boxer engine sounds pretty throaty for a 4 banger.

Is it an STI? STI's are nasty, 300hp, run mid 13's stock. I think the regular WRX's run 14.5's or 14.4's stock, I'm not sure of the exact times. If I had to get a foreign car, those would be the ones I'd look at.

But yes they do sound awesome! Boxer engines are weird. :uhoh:

Non-STI. But it's an '07 2.5 turbo so they use the same block now as the STI just a smaller turbo. He just got his cat-back and short shifter installed and it sounds pretty mean.

Cool cool, I love the way they sound. I'd totally be rally racing myself during the winter in one of those
