22" Wheel/tire Question

I am thinking of going with 22" wheels for my 2007 NBS Silverado. Would a +13 offset be ok? And can I run 305/45/22 tires or is 305/40/22 better? I am not lowerd or raised Im looking at U2 type 35's 22x9.5 , Also if If I run these w/out the tire sensors will the chimes go off all the time or just the light on the dash? I will only be running these about 6 months out of the year..Thanks for any help..

That looks like a very nice wheel. Should look great, if it fits.

 

Now, will they fit? Not sure, but if you give the search feature a workout, you'll most likely find this discussion has occurred many times over. The info is out there.

 

The TPMS alert is simply an error message in the dash and not a chime. I currently am running my 20's without them and all is well. I will, however, be adding them this summer as I am over having to clear the warnings every time I start the truck.

One thing to go by is the outside diameter of the tire. You can't run a true 33" tire. It will rub when you cut your wheel hard. This is running stock ride height. I'm running a 32" and a little and i'm at the limit, and its CLOSE when you cut it hard. Hope this helps.

You'll need to run a 305/40/22 or a 295/45/22. The wheel should fit fine
