Hi everybody, I bought my truck a few weeks ago, but it was finally nice enough weather to clean it up and take some pics. I love this truck so far and have no complaints. I traded in a 2005 Tundra double cab. It was a great truck, I never had any problems with it. I was between a 2008 Tundra CrewMax and the GMC. In the end, I went with the GMC because it was priced substantially lower than a new Tundra equally equipped. Also, no one could find a 4x4 tundra in the trim and color that I wanted. Enjoy.

I got the dealer to throw in a UWS toolbox and the Line-X. On my list already are:

 

DIC upgrade

window tint

intake and tune of some sort.

maybe some 285 BFGs when the Goodyears wear out

Excellent looking truck... welcome aboard. Any upgrades you are attempting will generate LOADS of experience and expertise from folks around here.

Thanks for the compliments everybody. I'm glad I found a forum with a professional/helpful atmosphere. I have already learned a lot of info about my new truck, for example...my DIC parts are on the way :D

A barkley truck??

 

How'd they do ya on it? I almost bougt one from them back in the summer, but decided not too, they were being to damn stuborn with what they have, with gas prices up, I bet they are looking to move in any fasion.

 

Though I think I will end up going over to Tuscaloosa chevrolet and getting the free tires for life and a more friendly service. They treat me pretty good when I bring in the corvette. Not to mention free tires for life on the Corvette > any dealer. (considering those F1's cost a very pretty penny, and you cant rotate em, but ya can roast em ;) )
