I found this under the Passenger seat of my 2008 Silverado LT1 w40-20-40 seats. The part# on it is GM 15128778. I don't know if it's a spare part or missing from somewhere?

Looks like some type of trim piece.

Since you gave the part# and pic, Ms3dale, could nail it down for you, if he sees your post.

 

Check around your 40-20-40 seat, definitely a corner/end piece.
