Gmpp Air Intake Kit

I'm thinking of getting the GM Performance Parts Air Intake Kit for my 2003 Silverado 5.3L. What are your thoughts on it? Is it easy to install? Pics are welcome.

Yeah, works fine, just as well as any other enclosed intake. But do a search, you'll find lots of info on intakes in general, including the GMPP intake.

How does the performance compare to a K&N FIPK?

 

It looks nice, but if the performance isn't there the looks wouldn't be worth the extra money.

If you are looking for performance or mileage, get it tuned first.

Considered this one myself, seems someone had a line on an ebay seller where it was a little cheaper, you might search for that.
