Mine suggested it too.  I think they finally give in to our constant babbling about our trucks and smokin' some rice, that they want to be a part of it.  At least I hope.  Or else they are trying to get us to do them a favor in the future.  Like going to see Moulin Rouge or some other chick flick!

all the females i talked to want to see that movie because of the van diesel guy i think thats his name..  so i wouldnt be suprised if thats the reason behind it.

Doing things the gf/wife suggests always 'greases the bearings'.  And, hey, it's a car flick.  So what if she gets a little hot and bothered over that Diesel guy, she's going home w/ you and there's a wicked Charger to get your heart pumping!  Enjoy while you can, because she probably use this as leverage to force you into a Julia Roberts movie (the face of death!).

My wife wanted to see it, but was somewhat reluctant. Now she can't wait until it comes out on DVD so we can buy it. After the movie she says, well you better order your lowering stuff, wheels, cowl hood, and taillights tomorrow. Yes I'm buying the movie. Maybe next time she'll say "buy that blower you always wanted".

From what I hear, all of the cars in the movie are real cars in CA.  They sent out a casting call and all the cars just showed up.

I'd like to hear some reviews on this movie from Forum members, I haven't decided if I want to drop the ? (me and the wife) to go see this one...

I can go watch the local street races for the cost of 1/4 tank....unless I join in and mill a few tenths off the rear tires!!  ;-)
