Front Springs

Hi folks, I haven't seen this topic before so I thought I would ask. Do the new trucks have coil springs on the front end now? If so why do you think they changed? I know my 2005 has torsion bars and have seen them on the older trucks. Are there any advantages to either? My thinking would be that coil springs would hold up better, especially for a plow. The idea of a torsion bar seems like it would eventually get tired, although I haven’t seen it being a problem in the older trucks. I’m sure some of you guys know a lot about this subject and would like to learn something on the issue, thanks in advance, Jake.
