Newb From Illinois

Hi, My name is Matt. I'm from the chicago suburbs. I just joined this site last night but, have been lurking since I bought my truck on 3/12.

My truck is a 08 Sierra extended cab short bed W/T 2wd with a 5.3 flexfuel w/ afm. The only other options are power windows, locks, mirrors, air cond, trailering/handling pkg, 3.73 rear and cargo mangement.

The mods that I have done are: I installed front tow hooks, I am waiting for new wheels to come in the mail. They are 17" alloy oem. Hopefully a chrome surround oem grill. I am a young family man and am on a a budget. I also want the upgraded DIC.

This seems like a great place with a lot of usefull info and hopefully I'll get to know a few of you.

Welcome! You'll learn a lot, I have. You'll find that just about everything has been tried here. You've got plenty of time so you can figure out the cheapest/best/nicest ways to do things if you're patient.

Thanks for the welcome everone! I forgot to mention that I also had a Rino liner put in. I would have just edited my orginal post but, I can't find the edit button or mabye I can't due to being a newb.
