Welp, ever sense iv been here, reading all the post about level kits and such, the look of the trucks stance has grown on me.. I'm thinkin I want to spend part of my recession check on a leveling kit. But before I do I would like to hear yalls opinions on how my truck with the wheels I got now, would look with a kit. lets be honest now. btw I'm lookin at a 2" rough country. thanks.

Todd, take a look at your rear fenders and the space between your tire and the fender. That is what the front would look like (almost the same distance). I think it would look good lifted in the front to level it off. :withstupid: Maybe later on go and get some bigger tires but for now it would look good with the leveled stance and the tire/wheel combo you have. Just my opinion though (and my vote).

I love my truck like I love my nuts. before I do any cosmetics, I want to make sure the girls will still like it. you dig?

That might be the absolute funniest thing I've ever read on here.

I think the leveled trucks look awesome but I use my truck as a truck a lot and if I leveled it with a load or towing something mighty heavy it'd be nose up and I can't stand that even more than nose down when it's unloaded. If you don't load it down with dirt or blocks or whatever, level it. If you do...you might want to think about it.

Go for it....You'll like it. Just don't cut anything. Some kits have you cut somethin. Don't do it there's no reason to. There are plenty of kits out there to install that you don't have to cut anything to get the same effect.

You wouldn't cut off your nuts that you speak of would you?

THEN DON'T CUT ON THE TRUCK!

Good luck.... :withstupid:

Do it. It'll look fine. It's only 70 bucks and can be reversed just as easy. You'll never know until you try it and see for yourself. If you can get me a good profile shot, I can PS it for you.

Do it. Use the tips mentioned in the Tech Wiki. Have another set of hands and a crowbar. 40 minutes, and we were done. And I could have gone without an alignment as I did not crack the ball joints. Although I suggest having the alignment checked, of course.

+1 I really like the look of a leveled truck. I would rather have mine look good 95% of the time, then just deal with the look of it sitting low in the rear when I tow or haul.

You could always put a 2" in the front and a 1" or 1.25" in the rear to kind of split the difference. Good luck. :withstupid:

Todd ol' buddy, you know where I "stand" on this subject :withstupid:

I had my apprehensions (as I do with everything) but I am glad that I did it in the end!!! Go for it.
