Starting Issues

Thur AM go out and truck cranks but won't start. Depressed fuel line valve and no fuel comes out. Truck was on a slight incline and thought it might be low on fuel (gauge isn't working) so put in 3-4 gallons. Still nothing coming out of fuel line valve. Had to leave so took other car.

 

Truck sat til late Saturday afternoon. Borrowed ODB to see if it was throwing a code. Plug ODB up, turn key and starts right up. WTF?

 

Today, make several short trips, including one for gas (5 gallons). On next stop, the problem returns, cranks but won't start. Was parked in school firelane so had to have it towed home.

 

Any ideas?

Try doing a search up in the right hand corner. More than likely you have a failing fuel pump.
