New Exhaust

I just got a new flowmater 40 series from the cat back on my 99 5.3 the thing barely makes any sound the garage told me beacause of the cats on it. Really sucks to spend 300.00 and sound almost stock. Does anyone else have this and what type of sound do you have

I have the delta flow 40 muffler. It's pretty loud, much louder than stock. Just replaced the muffler and thats all.

 

I'm guessing for 300 all they did was slap a single in, dual out flowmaster on there. Definately wont be as loud as true duals. Your setup should be more loud than stock though.

they put 2 mufflers on it. just not loud at all
