I agree. The average guy doesn't "get" the whole mod thing. I live in a neighborhood that lives in fear of the home owner's association and would never dream of doing anything not OEM to their vehicles. Most of them are that way. They think I am a little nuts.

I must be dumb, I can't see the difference.

I like it but IMO if you really have to run a front plate, matching upper an lower grilles with a plate frame bolted to the lower one would look much better.
