Corsa Sport Sound

Is it possible to get the aggressiveness of the corsa sport exhaust without paying $850? I heard a video on here with a truck that had borla xr-1 mufflers...sounded really good. Anyone know more about this setup??

 

I don't want something EXTREMELY loud inside, just aggressive and somewhat loud. Maybe its not possible without shelling out the cash for a corsa lol.

Going to be hard to do . Corsa is the only one using reflective sound cancelation that gets rid of the drone and leaves the good sound. Borla is a packed muffler, very different from Corsa.

Not sure if you guys know or not, but corsa makes universal mufflers called "DB Series"...i heard a system on a gto and they sound 99% like the $1000 system, with two $180 muffers and an x pipe.

 

I'm thinking about getting an x pipe made and running duals from manifolds to 2.25" through the mufflers and out the back.

 

Heres a link...he's running the "black" muffler, which is the louder one. I'm gonna go with the Red series.

To be fair though, he's also running long tube headers and high-flow cats. that sounds isn't just the mufflers.

or you just get a flowmaster and some three inch pipe from the local muffler shop and pay less than 250 for the whole catback exhaust. nothin sounds more aggressive than a flowmaster, well, besides straight pipes with long tube headers

Yeah but flowmasters dont have the sound i'm looking for...higher pitched than the flowmasters I've heard...not that my truck will sound like the gto but it can't be far off from the corsa sport system for our trucks. Flowmasters just dont do it for me...

 

I may just go to a single 2.5" pipe out to the side...idk yet.
