Xm Radio Wiring Help

Hello, excellent site. I am in need of some technical help. I have a 2005 Silverado that I am trying to install factory XM in. I have changed the original head unit out with a factory 6 disc. I still need to have the head unit reprogrammed by a dealer. I have purchased the factory XM equipment from a local used parts house. The wiring harness from the head unit to the XM module was cut from the original dash harness :chevy: which is making it difficult to install the equipment. I need help determining the the wiring arrangements for the orange, the green and the black w/ white wire so I can retap them into my dash harness. Also, once installation is complete, does anyone know if the head unit needs to be programmed for XM service? Any help would be very appreciated  .

I can answer your last question. If the head unit is factory, and the XM unit is factory, and both are compatible, all you need to do once the install is complete, is to call XM and have it activated. You should get like channel 0 to display the XM serial number for the unit and channel 1 which is sort of a primer on XM, without activation. If you can't get either of those, no sense calling XM for activation.
