Well, I just got my superchips programmer today and also just ordered my chrome mirror covers...THIS IS IT FOR AWHILE!!! I have had my truck for almost a month now and by looking at my signature you can see I have done a heck of alot in that time....

I purchased the plastic chrome mirror covers...I believe they are plastic.. from gmaccessoriesstore.com...I had purhased some for my 05 silverado through PUTCO I believe and they went on fairly easy with 3m tape and some plastic prep wipes that I had to rub over the black plastic mirrors before installation... I was wondering if anyone had these added to their NBS Sierra or Silverado cuz the mirros are the same on both...thanks for any input or tips....Hopefully tomorrow Ill ge the gray ghost programmed witht he superchips if I have time....

The ones gmaccessoriesstore.com offer are not stick-on but actual replacements for the black plastic ones you have now. I have them on my truck and have since I got the truck. They are great and show no signs of any unexpected wear whatsoever. They are very easy to install yourself.

Tobias! I just thought of something chrome that you're missing...!

Have you checked with GM Accessories to see if they have a chrome replacement for the XM "shark-fin" antenna on the roof??

I like tasteful chrome. That'd just be tacky. You might want to let Jeff know it's out there! :D

Isn't it both the Onstar antenna & XM antenna?

I put the chrome mirror caps on my mirrors (before I swapped them out for the camper mirrors). It was a real pain to get the old black covers off. I ended up breaking the tabs on both getting them out. I guess this isn't really a problem as long as you never plan to switch back, but I thought you should be aware. I spent over an hour gently prying on them trying to save them before I said screw it and just busted them off. The new ones snap on easily.

I agree, that would be "tacky", but I thought my chrome mirror covers were tacky also, that is why I removed them and sold them to Zembonez. Although they were the Putco "full" mirror covers, not the upper panel replacements.

Hey Daddy, I have said this before and I'll say it again...if I had ANY other color truck other than Gray or Silver, I would NOT have the chrome bug guard. I just think it blends the chrome grill and the hood nicely without being too "loud". So again, STFU already, K-Thx. :D

Actually, I thought it was for XM and Onstar, but whatever.. You STILL knew what I was talking about. And I'll bet you got giddy, like a little girl with her first Easy-Bake Oven, when you thought that extra chrome 'accent' to go with your color truck, too..! :D

Speaking of TicTacs, maybe you should eat a few, it may cover up the smell of all of the shiit coming out of your mouth.
