The 6.0L are know to have a lot of cab "noise" with aftermarket exhausts. I have a flowmaster muffler on mine and it is loud. I like it, but to each his own. I was able to reduce the interior sound, by putting sound deadner on the floors, back part of the cab, and in the doors. Other than stock the 6.0L are just loud. Sorry I could not help much.

Thats not exactly true. I have an after market Gibson dual extreme exhaust, and the best part of Gibson is not having obnoxious interior cab noise. It all comes down to preference. I'm not sure what your level of threshold to exhaust sound stands, but to me a loud interior exhaust sound would be a constant deep rumble. I've used a flowmaster before on my other truck, but it wasn't a good flowmaster model imo. Wasn't a true dual muffler, but that didn't matter cause the truck didn't have true dual exahust to begin with. GM trucks come true dual stock but then exit into a larger single pipe from the muffler. The Gibson is dual inlet and outlet making it a true dual set up from begining to end. Banks exhaust are known for louder sound and it can greatly increase interior cab noise.
