Leaf Spring Helper

Like i have said im in the process of purchasing a tow hauler and i stumbled upon these leaf spring helpers...they are extra springs mounted on top of the factory springs to prevent rear end sag and a more comfortable ride.....does anyone use these and if they do can you let me know if they are in fact legit. i would want airbags but im on a limited budget and they can be pricey

here is a link to jc whitney and some different models.

They do work when properly installed, what you are looking at are the add-a-leaf and leaf helpers. I installed a shorter version on my truck and they really help out so the truck does not sag as much.

I just bought and installed a set of Firestone ride rite air bags. i purchased them from Summit racing for under 250 delivered to my door. Install was very easy but i haven't tried them yet.

I just installed the Air Lift Ride Control air bags. They were $194 shipped from Summit. I like air bags better because you can deflate them when you don't need them to bring the ride/height back to stock.

I put a set on my previous truck, it never squatted after install, ride is not what I would call improved. The way I put mine on simply pushed the factory overload springs "on" all the time, that did more good than the helper spring did.

For towing you can't beat AirLift air bags (or RideRites)

+1 :) I tested ridesrites on dodge ram during the crossing of Russia with slide-camper (with terrific holes in the roads!) and :D
