complete LT1 engine..

i have a chance at a complete LT1 engine setup from a 4th gen camaro for about a 1000 dollars i was wondering if it would be worth it.

What do you mean by "complete setup"?

Engine, intake, throttle body, O2 sensors, Map sensor, computer?

If you know the source of the engine and it hasn't been thrashed,it's worth it but you'll still probably want to go through the top end at the very least.

Mileage is important, and as yZR2k mentioned, so is use or abuse. For ? it should be pretty complete, since replacement wiring or other parts can be a bit expensive. Also, what application do you plan to use it with? Stock it wouldn't be setup for a heavy truck application, you would probably want to reprogram the PCM. BUT, for an S-10 size truck it would be AWESOME!!

Probably not a bad deal, if complete and not totally abused.
