New New bodystyle? Come on. GMT400 GMT800 and GMT900 is impossible to misunderstand.

I think everyone here knows nnbs is the gmt900. look at his truck under his name 08 silvy Does he want a replacement grill shell with one opening, with two, maybe he wants something with vertical slats. That's what I wanted to know, a little information about what he is looking for. I'll help him find some if I can but I am not going to waste my evening looking for any and all of them available when it's just as easy for him to provide us with an idea fo what he's thinking. RBP actually stands for Rolling Big Power, which is what I was looking for, the actual name of the company. As for your NNBS comments, most guys here know that an NBS is the newer model truck built during a year where there were two overlapping body styles. For example: A 2007 Classic versus a 2007 NBS. NNBS doesn't make sense at all. It's either the new body style or it is not. Just because a bunch of people use something as if it makes sense does not make it so. You should try being cool around here, it'll get you farther.
Darkanion Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Holy Schmoly! http://rollingbigpower.com/products/produc...;products_id=81
satori Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 IMO, NBS and NNBS should be removed from the acronymns sticky. (or at least a caveat that says to not use them)
tobias Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Ken, Every single option that they offer for a Silverado is overpriced by around $1200-$1800. Personally I am not a fan of the style but even if you are, I'd suggest that your money would be much better spent on any number of other mods. Those guys are insane to charge that much for a little steel. I doubt you are going to find those things many other places and if you do, I doubt the price will be much different.
alaska511 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Holy Schmoly! http://rollingbigpower.com/products/produc...;products_id=81 YIKES No I can't say that I have seen any others like that, cheaper or otherwise
tobias Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 IMO, NBS and NNBS should be removed from the acronymns sticky. (or at least a caveat that says to not use them) Agreed. NBS can be used effectively with the '99 and '07 non-classic trucks although the GMTXXX platform designation is just as effective.
2000DV4.8 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Or anybody that types them gets a temporary ban.

That needs to be added to the 'bad mod' thread.
Darkanion Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Now that is by FAR the ugliest grille I've ever seen. That needs to be added to the 'bad mod' thread. Yeah - I've seen some bizarre grilles... But, no.. No way, on my truck. To each there own, though! OP : If you like it, go for it!
arctictwist Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 WOW, ok. So im kinda new around here and ive seen NNBS used more often than not. Sorry. So ill use GMT900 from now on or ill just say 08 silverado. I didnt necessarily like the entire look of that grill. I did find that they have a smooth shell, and i would probably have taken off the logo in the middle. Basically i want to avoid going to someone to paint my grill shell black, but i guess ill have to. I have now lost the connection i had for powdercoating so i guess ill have the same person paint my bumpers black to match. I suppose to reason for not wanting someone to paint it is because i just dont trust anyone in my area. Ive only heard good things about one place, and while they fixed up my car really nice, they played with it and threw a push rod. They really musta beat the crap out of it, cus i drove that thing hard and it always held up. IM in seymour ct, if anyone knows a trustworthy body place in the area. Better RBP grille....still tooooo much money tho! This is more of the one i was looking at, that other one above is just plain hideous!
tobias Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 No sweat on the NNBS stuff. The only reason that got out of hand was because Zack got a little rude and guys don't enjoy that around here when the guy being rude is also wrong. As for the grill, yeah, entirely too much for. If you are worried about paint you could always find any local hot rod clubs or even motorcycle shops, etc. and ask them who does the best work. Hot rod and bike guys are going to be you straightest source of info for good painters.
