Help Lowering A 2000 Silverado

NEW MEMBER HERE FROM ILLINOIS. LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON LOWERING A 2000 SILVERADO 4X4 EXTENDED CAB. UNFORNATELY I'VE RUN INTO ALOT OF DEAD ENDS, BECAUSE IT IS A 4X4. I WAS HOPING FOR A 3 FRONT & 5 REAR DROP. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS IN ADVANCE, [email protected]

TURN OFF THE CAP LOCK MARK.

4x4 might be a sticky point on a large drop. Just not that many folks that want to go that route. It would be pretty easy to get 2-3 inches drop but I don't know about slamming it. T bars could lower the front a couple of inches without totally destroying the ride if you used some good HP gas shocks. Shackles and hangers on the back for 4 inches there. You'll probably have to "make up your own" drop kit.

you can get a little over 3" in the rear with just 2" drop shackles and removing the rear lift blocks.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I did alot of research, received alot of wrong info from order companies-I would cross reference the part #'s and they were not applicable to my application.

Finally I was offered DJM's customer support #, and they set me up with the exact setup!!! They offered possibilities from a 1 front/1 rear to a 3 front/5 rear, and probably lower.

I decided to go with a 3 front/4 rear setup. Will try to figure out how to post pics of before, and after. Also will try to post pics of the installation - I'm going to do it myself.
